Cyber-attacks on banks: the consequences of a loss of access to bank records, March 2017

title pageRaymond and Liisa Lahti recently published the article “Cyber-attacks on banks: the consequences of a loss of access to bank records” in the Journal of International Banking & Financial Law, vol. 32, issue 3. In the article they reflect on the legal and regulatory consequences of a cyber-attack in which customer credit balances have been misappropriated and the bank is no longer able to access computer records including archives of accounts held by it.
