Raymond has been in private practice as a barrister since 1982 and received Silk in 2002.
His expertise as a counsel and arbitrator is highly sought in the areas of banking, financial services and regulation, commercial dispute resolution, conflicts of law, fraud and conspiracy, injunctions, insurance and reinsurance, telecommunications.
As a member of CIArb Raymond has extensive international arbitration experience. He frequently acts in disputes relating to jurisdiction involving the Brussels Regulation or non EU jurisdictions.
Raymond regularly advises on English law overseas.
